Description
Depictions of animals were a popular motive throughout the activity of the Werkstatte Hagenauer Wien. This fallow deer was designed around the 1940s and captures the viewer with its sublime, elegant and powerful aura. It is executed in high quality and the figurine is in excellent condition. The strongly reduced depiction and the use of wood and metal are very typical for the works of the Werkstatte Hagenauer. This object also bears the original paper label at the bottom.
